The city of Düsseldorf sprawled out on the banks of the river Rhine is located in the West of Germany. One of Germany’s financial centres, Düsseldorf has long been the centre of the advertising and fashion industry in Germany.
Visitors to this productive of German cities can enjoy some incredible spectacles of modern architecture such as the Gehry buildings in the media harbour and the 240m high Rheinturm tower with the Worlds largest decimal clock light sculpture on its shaft.
The city of Dresden has all of the facilities of a large city with numerous restaurants hotels and bars. The Altstadt district is famous for its concentration of pubs and is fondly referred to as ‘The Worlds Longest Bar’. Düsseldorf is also home to the largest Japanese population in Europe which is evident in the quality and availability of Japanese food and restaurants.
On the 11th of November Düsseldorf comes to life with ‘Düsseldorf Karneval’ as part of the traditional festivities of the Rhine valley.
